I need to get some RAM, going to be used in dual-channel operation on the MSI K7N2 Delta-ILSR mobo. Narrowed them down to these two, any opinions on which is the better performer? Price is not a concern for me, strictly performance. Mobo is going to be used with Athlon XP 2700+ which is going to be overclocked. Hoping for aggressive timings with the FSB and RAM in sync. The only concern I have is that HyperX is only sold seperately, if I buy two DIMMS will they be the same (single-banked or double-banked)? That alone is making me lean towards Corsair TWIN-X 1024-3200LL since they have been tested for dual-channel operation.

I read a post on Guru3d forum that the 512 MB sticks from Corsair don't work well with the nForce2 chipset. Does anyone have that combination? Was planning to get the Corsair TWIN-X 1024-3200LL (2x512 MB) but may get the 2x256MB instead if there are problems with the 512MB sticks.

* Provide a link to the said Guru3d post.

* If you go with Corsair, ask the folks in the Official Corsair Memory Support Forum which memory modules are recommended for the MSI K7N2 Delta-ILSR motherboard.

Sorry, I was mistaken. The forum where I saw that was in nForcersHQ Forum There are just so many forums that I go to so I get the most complete picture, I just got mixed up. Anyway, there is the link. Also, thanks for pointing me to the Official Corsair Memory Support Forum. Now I've got another forum to look at.
