Hi,

I am looking for a very small cheap mp3 voice recoder. All I will be
using it for is to record people speaking. It needs to have very little
space, under 1Gb, maybe even 200mb. It doesn't need to be big since I
will always transfer that which I record onto a laptop.

Any reccemendations/thoughts/ideas?

I had an Archos Jukebox Recorder, 20GB which was great, only I don't
need anything as big or expensive. Only needed to record and
temporarily store mp3s.

Thanks

Richard

You might look at the "memo recorder" things that they sell at office
supply stores. Fidelity is dreadful, but they're small, don't store
much, and aren't as expensive as music recorders.

You shouldn't have given up your Archos though. You probably won't get
something newer and smaller that costs less. People want capacity so
that's what the manufacturers give them. Also, it's just not worth
building something like this for $100. If they can't get $200 from
you, they'll tell you to pound sand.

Pretty sure that's just a player. Creative quit the
recorder business with the end of NJB3 production. Damn
shame. They were on a good track. Not enough market I guess.
