Driver Updates

I did a fresh install of Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 (32 bit) over my previous setup (same). The setup backed all previous files up to windows.old file. I need to update the drivers for the new Windows install, however I have no apparent way of connecting to the internet. I have an active wifi connection and available ethernet connection, however the drivers for both are out of date.

More specifically, all of these drivers are out of date:

Base System Device
Ethernet Controller
Network Controller
PCI Serial Port
PCI Simple Communications Controller
Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller
Unknown device

I'm thinking that there must be some way to update these drivers from the windows.old files since they were up-to-date prior to fresh install. The only other way (without fixing internet connection) would be cd install?

Lenovo W510
Intel i7, 1.60GHz, 4.0 GB RAM.

Any help or direction is much appreciated. Let me know if more information is needed.

first of all dump 32-bit and reinstall a 64-bit copy so you can use your system properly

second use another machine to download the ethernet/wireless driver and install that to connect to the internet so you can download the rest

And what's the best way to get the drivers? Microsoft's site and move them to a cd for install?
