I realize this is most likely a very old topic, but I searched and could not
sift through to find my answer... I acquired a mess of ringtones on my pc...
How can I get some of them onto my brand new Sanyo vi-2300 ... I appreciate
your time....  J

I've had good luck using this:

<http://www.sprintusers.com/focus/>

I like my 2300, but I found its selection of ringtones pretty limited.

Sprint's over-the-air provisioning system makes it easy to do if the
ringtones are in the right format. I even wrote a Java2 Mobile Edition game
(Tic-Tac-Toe), uploaded it to my web server and downloaded it to my Vision
phone and played it. :)

http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/ has a tool that will upload a file and send
a link to the file to your phone via SMS (optionally, or you can just go to
the phone's browser and enter the address the Rumkin.com site gives you if
you don't want to pay for a text message).

Normal Vision charges apply. You'll be charged $0.01 per kilobyte
transferred if you don't pay monthly for a Vision pack.
