Okay so I was playing about with windows 8 on my laptop, installed it on a separate partition and everything worked fine. I would get the option of choosing OS at bootup. So once I finished with windows 8 (don't like it, to much useless crap thrown at you ad useful stuff taken away/ hidden), I formatted the partition with it on. And now it won't detect windows 7. So I've had to re-install windows 8 to look at the partitions and everything seems to be the same. Its still marked as active but can't boot using W7. So is there anyway to fix this.
And if not, I have the install disc for windows7 for my desktop. Could I use this with the Key from my laptop and still use the disc for my desktop.?
