More Information

I got an Axim x51v
I want to add storage
I can get either
$165 after rebate Hitachi Microdrive 6GB
$209 PNY 4GB CF
from newegg
The Microdrive looks like the better deal
My question is which uses less power?
I'm assuming that solidstate will be more reliable then moving parts.
What else do I need to consider.

Up to you.
I personally suggest a HD if the size is more than 2 gig.
a SD if you need 2 gig or less.

I think the Axim has a SD and CompactFlash.
So if you need to add GPS for example, fill one slot with GPS and the other with memory.
