determine mobo make/model b4 memory selection?

I have a machine without the original mobo manual - have examined the board and cant seem to identify the make & model. Tried to run Scisoft Sandra to get this but for some reason it wont run on this machine. How can i obtain this info. Correct me if im wrong but i need this to determine what type of mem and max. threshold of memory that can be added?

Download and install <A HREF="http://www.aida32.hu/aida-download.php?bit=32" target="_new">AIDA32</A>. Execute it and navigate to the motherboard->motherboard section. The name of the motherboard will be listed.
