toshiba laptop drivers locked.... Please guide me, how to unlock??

When I click on the icons on the desktop (incl Taskbar) there is no response at all

You might want to run a virus scan like Malwarebytes (free) or Superantispyware (free).

According to the advice of my nephew, I have RESTORED the system to an earlier date and now it is working ok
