Lost Taskbar Notification Icons

Hello,
Somehow, while configuring my new Win 7 laptop, I have deleted all my notification icons. They aren't hidden, they are gone! If I right click the taskbar and go to customize, they are all listed, but grayed out so I can't check them.
Anyone had this before?

I don't think it was a virus. I was cleaning out some bloatware that came with the computer when the icons disappeared. I wasn't even on the Internet.

Then use system restore to go back BEFORE you cleaned out...

Brett,

I would much rather fix the problem. I spent half a day deleting bloatware and adding programs, some of which I bought and downloaded so I don't have the discs.

I was hoping someone could point me to a site that has fixes for Win 7 Pro.
