It's a good thing I didn't find out about this in high school...
I'd've been tempted to hand the teacher a paper typed like that.

This was going around and appeared on thousands of blogs and email
inboxes along with the "best golfer is black, best rapper is white"
thing a few years ago.

Too many Usenet posters write like this, as if typing on a realtime

I wonder how well this works for the English as a Second Language set?
Regardless of whether it made the rounds of blogs or whatever, it's obvious
that claims that people can't determine what a person meant as long as the
letters are in the word, such as typing "teh" instead of the, then it's only
a petty thing to actually gripe about someone's typing.
I took typing in high school. I can type faster than I can think sometimes.
I also spend a good amount of time proof-reading. That doesn't mean that
everyone does. If it's lasotkena;eknnt';'s t, then I agree with either
complaining, or simply ignoring (the latter is preferrable). Depends on how
much you value someone else's advice. And if you value the advice, it's
probably not a good thing to gripe about their typing.
