I think Quantegy delivered some of the SPARS order but I don't know if
they are shipping to anyone else yet.

Figure about two months before it's worth even asking the Nederlands folks.
ATR Magnetics is running behind, since they discovered they couldn't get
enough three-phase at their new location. They're looking at September
before they start shipping production tapes now.

used tape is available, but who cares. i can erase old tapes that are
laying around too. it hasn't been necessary.

i was just wondering if i had missed any manufacturer of note coming
back online. didn't think so.

somehow production has managed to continue without available tape
sources for months now. maybe it isn't as critical as some thought.
when 3M quit making 996 was when i wrote off tape anyway. they saw the
writing on the wall years before anyone else. still have all those
Visionary Award plaques from them.
