Played a DCME, was suprised how full is still sounded, even though a
cut-away......
Was wondering the benifits of DCME (laminate) vs DC1E (solid mahogony)
of couse, the solid is $100 more. In the long run, does this equate
to better sound as it ages?
Looking for something to record with plus for writing
songs.......really dig the sound even more so then the priceyer
martins. Then of course, if I did not go with a cut away I could get
a DM or D-1 and add on (buy) the serperate Fishman Aura for recording,
but would lose the cut-away....
My question is, will the DC-1E sound as good as the DCME?
I know the 1E is $100 more, but I like the sound of the mahogony,
while on the other hand, the DCME doesn't have the solid mahogony back
but assume due to the solid spruce top, it would still age well.
In a nutshell, how different in tone does the spanish cedar make vs
mahogony?
