phantom power supply

Phantom is in the power supply. ON-OFF switch and indicator
on the front.

Do you have the Hill power supply? Is it defective? If
you're not using the Hill PS, what are you using to power
the board?

I have three of these mixers, and use the phantom that
squirts out of the power supply connector.

Double hmmm...

I've got a Stagemix as well (and a SoundMix), and the power
supplies are the same - just as you describe - 1RU with a
DIN 5 pin.

So, you don't have a phantom power switch on the front of
the PS with a indicator light?

Kind of hard to troubleshoot over the newsgroup, but if your
technical chops are up to it, you might pull the power
supply apart and see what's going on with the 1/4" jack. See
where it's connected, and what might have been disconnected
(if anything). It's possible that the 48V part of the PS
failed, and you've got a work-around fix. There were a
couple of different power supplies from Hill. Maybe you have
one of the variations.

Maybe a little more investigation...
