Bush Speech

Well, I just got back from Bush's Speech here in town. It was as I expected. Good. Although, He did make one mistake at the end by accidentally reffering to us as "Califo--I mean Florida." But other than that it was well written and well spoke. It rained for about two hours while we were out there but other than that it was fine and fun until afterward. I unfortunately parked in a zone they were obviously towing cars, and mine got towed. So I walked about 4 miles to the Tow joint to piock up my car. And they only took cash so I had walk back to a bank to get my money out. I walk back and pay for my car but they wouldnt get my car out of the lot because "it was behind the other cars." They had four tow trucks there and three drivers but were going to wait until the "other" drivers to get there to get my car out, so I was steadily getting agitated and finally got angry because the told me I was trespassing on their property and called the police on me and four other guys waiting for their cars. When they were holding MY car!!! Anyways the cops came and I explained it to them and they understood what was going on. Well they finally got enough cars out of there to reach my car, so I walked back in their lot and got in my car to drive off. The cops came over and told me to get out of my car and started to read my miranda rights. I told them and showed them my reciept of paying and the lady who owned the company came over and told them that I had paid and I could leave. so I left.

Anyways other than that it was a good night.

Did you see any protestors who were protesting against an issue NOT related to the election? There were some anarchist goth college kids at the Kerry speech. I couldn't read their signs though, just saw the Anarchy "A"

if you really want to join go reserve and find a unit with an officer slot open. they will automatically put you in it and send you to OTS and when you graduate they will give you a commission. but im sure youre joking right?

yeah and with the reserve/guard the age is higher i believe. and being an officer you would be put on full-time status. its a good deal if you are really committed.
