Hi :)

I recently bought a laptop from ebay, the Toshiba Sattelite Pro 6000 1.06ghz variant. It had the power connector fault which required a bit of solder work to get it going but it's fixed now.

I'm looking to upgrade the laptop however the info on the toshiba site is...well...confusing. They dont give info on the specs of the memory needed.

The info i need is what spec of SODIMM can the laptop take? I know it can take up to a gigabyte of ram and it's PC133 spec but i dont know how many pins? The manual says 200 pins yet one of the spec pages on the toshiba site says 144 pins :( Also, will the laptop be able to take a USB 2 PCMCIA card and can i just stick any lower speed CD-R/RW drive into the slim bay to replace the teac CDROM? I doubt i'll be placing a bigger harddrive in it as 20gb on a laptop should do the trick, plus, i dont know what kind of hard drives the laptop takes anyway.

Basically this is my first laptop and i took a chance that it was the power connector, ive come across this problem before on a neighbours toshiba SP 6000...however i dont have a clue about upgrading these things...any help would be appreciated.

TIA.
