I am getting a little annoyed with having to lug around my big tower that has everything the way I want it between school and home. I need to get a notebook. This notebook will not have any games on it, just development tools. The closest this thing will get to entertainment will be an imported link from my pc to ebaumsworld.com. I don't work with high end graphics, so I don't need a powerhouse notebook. I can spend a little over 500 for one.

If you were in my shoes, where would you buy a notebook?

IMO dell are the best for notebooks. they have a good range to suit all needs and have customisable options so you get want you want to a cetain degree.

ACER has a nice $499 deal on Buy.com for a 14.1" notebook.
