hello,

when you are near the speakers, you hear more of the speakers, and less
of the room (which i think can be good).

what's the drawback to listening at about 3-4 feet compared to having
the speakers 6-10 feet from your ears?

thinking in terms of mixing pop/rap music which has more "separated"
sounds compared to a "blended" classical recording.
