This sometimes happens when something causes a contention between requirements of a game and the ability of the graphics driver to respond. Update to the latest driver. Cheers

Like other said it could be an outdated driver. However, there are other possibilities. I know that with my previous card, although nvidia (gtx 560), the driver would crash due to flash software. Update your flash player in addition to the driver updates. If your video driver is crashing while browsing the web, it is likely due to flash.
