I have a Dell Dimension XPS T600r PC.

P3 600e CPU
384MB SDram Memory
10GB Western Digital HDD
Nvidia TNT 64MB Video Card
soundblaster Sound Card

The printer I am using is an HP Deskjet 940Cse color printer. The problem is that as soon as printing begins, the system hangs and will not allow me to open anything up. Even though the printing is uninterrupted and prints pretty quick, I cannot do anything on the system until the printing is complete. I have downloaded the new driver from HP and the problem still exists. This only happens to the PC when printing. No other processes seem to effect the PC's stability what-so-ever including, opening various programs, burning a CD and scanning.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
