Hi all, Trying to get my head around two new bits of kit i.e. Multiface
and mac laptop. Think problem is around audio drivers, been told macs
are intuitive but not finding them so. Can monitor audio in my
Hammerfall Mix window, but can't get audio to or from Cardbus card to
Cubase or other software. Where would I check for audio drivers on a
mac running OSX panther. RME disk talks about extracting files to ASIO
folders among others. Can't find this info to extract and can't find
folders they should be extracted to.
Thanks for reading, any help gratefully recieved.

You could also try news.x-networks.de and post to the group rme-audio.forum

Go to "System Preferences", and click on the "sound" icon. This is
where you can change the default settings for sound in and out. If your
are getting sound out of the Multiface, then something is working. Your
computer is probably set to use the internal sound in and out as
default. Change the input and output to "RME Hamerfall DSP". If this is
the problem, you should be good to go, you might have to change
something in the Cubase preferences but I don't use Cubase, so I can't
help you there.
Hope this helps.
Paul

Thanks, I had already changed the default audio to RME which it had
recognized. I'll try the above links too.
