A couple years ago, I bought an Optiquest Q95 19" monitor for $299 from amazon.com (screw them now)

Needless to say, it's the best investment I ever made. Went from a TandonVGA 14" to a 19" beast, thing barely fit my desk

I still use it, it is the hardest of hardcore

It's all good ^_^

I picked up a refurbished Viewsonic A90 from Compgeeks a couple years ago for $169, it uses the Hitachi (.22dp) semi-flat screen, which IMO is the best looking tube on the market. Previously I had a Sony flat tube display which was far grainier.
