I looked at the 710n at the Local Bestbuy (two hours away) and noticed that it had some colormixing or whatever that is called (two colors are displayed next to eachother to display another color of course 70% of the screen was trying to display this color so it was noticeable in lines across the screen which may have made it worse than normal and every line switched really fast to the other color which was not cool) the effect was only noticeable from fairly close so it might not be a big deal but to me that is kinda hard on the eyes

the 172x is a bit more expensive at 540 some odd dollars instead of around 300 online but upgradesource.com has a nodead pixel policy I would check it out.
