Hi,

since we have integrated our FSM 750 and GSM 712 manageble Gigabit-Switches,
we have terrible performance Problems.
The problems started by using VLANs and 10 Mbit devices.

Everytime a 10 Mbit device send packages to a port, the whole 144 Port-Stack
stops working.

This is a netgear-known problem.Netgear Germany sended us some beta-firmware
updates, without correcting this Problem.
The only way, to work, is with factory defaults, without any VLAN.

The reason for this posting is not finding some more help, because if
netgear themself can't help, there will be no one else.

But we are searching for other users with the same problems with these
Netgear switches.

Greetings

This newsgroup is for the Microsoft Broadband Networking hardware NOT
networking in general. You may try posting on a newsgroup for netgear.
