I don't have a lot of money to spend, but I want to be able to play GTA III and GTA Vice City at 1280x1024 resolution with some anti-aliasing without breaking the bank. I have a couple of computers and need to upgrade video cards. I currently have an AIW Radeon card that does OK in GTAIII, but the game suffers slow down as I am playing.

I was looking at a GeForce4 Ti4200 with DVI and 8x AGP for about $122. Any thoughts on whether I will be able to get good game play and response with this card? I can't afford to go all the way to a Radeon 9700 or GeForce Ultra 5900.

What did we do before we had computers?
