Hi there - I've been having these problems for a couple of days. 
When I call a number - it goes through and the person on the other end can hear me.
Although - I can't even hear the phone ring and when the person on the receiving picks up there is no sound. And I have my sound on 7 (the highest it can go)
This happened to me yesterday - when my mum told me that she could hear me and my mad mate reciting 'the rain in spain falls mainly on the plain!' LOL! 8O

PS - I have a Motorola V220 if that helps anyone.
