Lost photo files

I cant find my photos after I inserted my memory stick

if you can access the drive recuva will help you recover them.

Need more details, do you just not know where to look for them? They are not usually just sitting there in the root of the disk, usually in a subfolder.

Can you see the photos when you look at them in the camera?

I am with above, When you connect a memory stick, it should show up as another drive letter in (My) Computer(My Computer for XP and just Computer for Vista/7/8) and then contain a folder(normally DCIM/camera model/images) with the files.

Now some cameras, if you are connecting the camera and not just the memory card will use MTP, but it should show up as a little icon in (My) Computer, then its all the same after that point. Just copy the images to the computer and enjoy.
