My dsl router went bad and I have a new one but it
connects by PPPoE, I have a internet connection until I
disconnect my router and connect in series with my MN-700
base. The program will not set up my base and I am beside
myself on what to do next at this point the only thing
I'm doing is doubling up on my blood pressure pills. Can
anyone tell me what to do in layman terms.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Not exactly understanding what you're saying, but if you have updated the
MN-700 (fixed PPPoE issues) from
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/broadbandnetworking/15_Downloads.aspx
you'll be able to just go into your browser and then the default base
station IP of 192.168.2.1 to manually configure it.
