I'd like to play Grand Prix 2 with it. Is there an easy tweak I should know of? It works fine without sound (although more fps would be great), but it could run better ;).

I've noticed that if you use dosemu from a different console than the kde's Konsole, you get the jerky mouse pointer fixed and more speed too.

Do you need to run it through X? Maybe running it from text mode will be faster, or you could re-nice it to give it a higher priority. Another option is recompiling with optimisations.

Now it works great.

I tweaked the config a bit.

all it needed was editing the "$_X_updfreq" in dosemu.conf
