Audigy2 Plays Music not Games

Ok this kinda wierd.My Audigy 2 will play CDs and MP3s but it stopped playing sounds in games.Its done this twice before.I reinstalled the drivers and it started working again this time it didnt work.Does anyone know how I can fix this and maybe prevent it in the future?

Try going to the EAX console and putting the special effects on EAX games. If that doesnt work then try turning it off.That happened to me before when I turned on the chipmunk voice, but EAX games- normal effects works ok.
