What works with an Audigy 2?

I'm currently running an ASUS A7M266 which has a VIA southbridge that apparently doesn't like my new, shiny Audigy 2 Platinum. So, I'm in the market for a new setup but am aware that the Audigy has had problems on a wide array of mobos. I had my eye on the Asus A7N8X, but I've heard of people having troubles with Audigys and this board. Can anyone pipe up with configs they've tested with an Audigy 2 that have worked without problems? I'd preffer to stick with AMD for price reasons... And nForce2 would be nice too, provided it isn't known to cause problems with the Audigy.

Thanks!

Thanks! That's good to hear as I recently placed an order at NewEgg (THE best overall on-line component store if you ask me) for a new, shiny AOpen AK79G MAX which is nForce 2. I *almost* went with the A7N8X, but I'd read about some problems people had had with it that tipped the scales just enough. The AOpen appears to have alot of really cool features that attracted me.

I have an ASUS A7S333 Motherboard with an SiS745 Chipset and an AMD XP 2000 Processor. I recently purchased the Audigy 2 sound card. I haven't experienced any problems with it. I am still trying to learn how to use everything but haven't run into any compatability issues yet. I recently found an AMD XP 2200/A7S333 Motherboard combo with Fan and Heatsink for 160 dollars on Pricewatch. That is a killer price for a that combo. Anyway, good luck.
