Windows 8 black screen and no boot menu

Hello, I have had my computer for about a month now and it has been working perfectly fine. However when I attempted to start up SW:TOR my monitor black screened with the sound still working. I've tried everything I could to get it to work and it would not. I eventually restarted my computer and now whenever windows tries to boot the screen goes black. I also attempted to enter safe mode but when I select the windows boot manager its still black screens. I have no other ideas as for what to do.
