I have an old iPAQ 3835 for which I've purchased several programs. The OS on the 3835 is PocketPC 2002 or something like that. I'm thinking about getting a VX6700 pda/phone which runs Windows Mobile 5.0. Will my old programs be able to run on this new OS ?

Short answer: NO!

Maybe some of your Programms will run on WM5 but it depends on how deep they work with system internals. If at least the software would be for 2003SE or something then there would be a greater chance of getting them to work.

All you could do is to check the sites of the developer to see if there is a new version for WM5. If not, you have to get new Software
