Has anyone had this problem:
- Antec TruePower 380 power supply
- AMS gTOWER case
- the power supply is upside down, in other words, the internal fan points towards the top of the case rather than towards the mother board. Arggg!

Antec confirms the orientation problem, still waiting to hear from AMS to see whether they make a different power supply mounting plate.

Any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated.

cheers, Brendan

you should be able to mount it with only 2 screws. then if you really wanted to you could drill some holes for the other holes.

Grr, I hate that, I'm using such a case right now!

Yea, if it were only so simple ... the inner perimeter of the p.s. mounting plate is shaped like a keyhole. The p.s. won't fit in rotated 180 degrees without "dremeling" (is that a word?) the inner hole to accomodate the fan where the power switch and power cord are right now. Oh well. I always wanted a "MultiPro Rotary Tool ..." Unless there's an easier way to shape aluminum?

you can always cut it with some metal scisors, or just use some sandpaper (or a metal file) and just sit there with it for a lil while till you can shape out what you need... ideally, dremel + metal file will give you a fast and clean looking fix

Wow! I called AMS tech support ... this is fixed in the newer versions of this case. In addition, they make a retro-fit plate that they're shipping for free, immediately. Right on AMS!

I was about to give an option, but crap, that deal with AMS sounds pretty awesome

Right on indeed

It's all good ^_^
