I am looking to add a few hard drives to my system as was wondering if 1) I can go ahead with the plan 2) What kind of concerns I should have. I have 2x120gb, 1x200gb and was looking to add 3x250gb and 1x60gb.

System specs:
300 watt PS
2.0 gHz P4 on XP
512mb DDR Ram
2xWD 120gb
1xWD 200gb
Nvidia Ti4200 128mb
Cd R/RW
DVD-ROM
SB Live!
Net card
PCI Controller

My plan is to add the 3 250gb to the controller (has the 200gb on it now) and take the DVD-ROM out and add the 60gb (or add another controller to keep the never used DVD-ROM :p)

Any advice or direction is greatly appreciated.

I would definately consider upgrading your power supply. I'm partial to the Antec TruePower series, and the Fortons just got a stellar review.

(that's a crapload of storage space!)

IF its a quality 300W psu you should be ok.
If its not, bet a better one.

apart from that, everything sounds sane.
