Welp, searching the internet for hours didn't help my decide what to buy.. so i went with some knowledge and hoped for the best.
I bought my friend a 17" Samsung syncmaster 793df. Got it off of newegg for 150 us Dollars. Absolutely awesome.
If you're looking for good cheap monitors these are a great choice.
