I just bought a new machine and left in the old HD a SAMSUNG SV0844D 8G HD for playing my music

since i am in XP i have the NTFS setup for my main one.

should i do the same to my smaller HD?

If so.. how do i go about doing that.

Thanks.

I wouldnt bother. Main reason is its only 8 gb and not much space will be saved by converting. 2) It will only be able to be read by xp or 2000 if the main drive fails.

Unless you want to have restriction on who having access to your drive, you probably wouldn't need to convert it.
Anyway, if you want, run <b>Command Prompt</b> program (in <b><font color=red>Start menu\All Programs\Accessories</b></font color=red>). At prompt type '<b>convert [driveletter] /fs:ntfs</b>'. There are other syntaxes for that command. If you want to know, typing <b>convert/?</b> at command prompt will show its instruction.

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
