I am now using Samsung DDR266 256MB ram, I would like to buy another 256MB of ram for upgrade but I am worried about compatability problem (Like DDR400). Which brand has the greatest compatability. (I am looking for DDR333 and value one e.g. Samsung (Third party), Samsung (original), Kingston, Cosair, Geil)

Thanks and regards

The simple answer would be to stick with Samsung.

However... in issues like this you should call them to verify what you are doing will work the way that you want.

Using differing modules makes, models, frequencies, ect., can cause errors.

Most likely you will be fine with another Samsung with your existing but call them to make sure.

Ask them if there are any reported conflicts with your existing module to what you are looking to purchase and if there are any conflicts with the motherboard and the sticks that you are looking at purchasing.

I think Corsair then Kingston, which also happen to be the best performing/OCrs IMO.

But for you I would say stick with Samsung. Stick with what you know works.
