I installed Windows 8 consumer preview on an HP laptop (not my primary) to test it out. Before I did I created a set of recovery disks. Now, I'm ready to remove Win 8 and re install Win 7 from the recovery disks. However, I can't seem to access the boot up menu to run the recovery discs. Every time I reboot I hit the escape key at the initial startup screen, but it continues to boot into Win 8. Is there another way to access the boot menu? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!

Splendid
When the Bios screen comes on it should tell you which button to press to enter the boot menu, If you can not find this you can enter to bios and manually change the boot priority to dvdr so it boots to disk first then switch it back after your done.

Okay, yeah it says to press the Esc key to enter setup. I do this every time, but it's as if I'm not pressing anything because it continues to boot to Windows. What do you make of this? Has Win 8 completely screwed up my PC??
