I'm getting about 17000kB/s. Isn't that kind of slow?

I've defragged recently, and I turned off file indexing and system restore. Is there any way I can boost my score into the "green"?

I have a D-Link 100 NIC and some low-end AGP, no other PCI devices. The HDD is on its own chain, running at DMA5 via an 80-conductor ribbon.
