OK, I'm pretty sure that the basic problem is with the .pdf file & I'm contacting the vendor to see if a tagged version is available, but I'm also wondering if I'm doing something wrong. As I understand it, Adobe Reader is supposed to tag the file (to the extent it can) when it's transferred-but these files aren't being tagged at all.
I'm moving from a Palm & Adobe Reader for the Palm handled these files OK-either that was able to tag them or it did something else to reformat/reflow them. (I never ran into the term reflow on it, but I didn't do a lot of digging either-why troubleshoot something that simply works like it should?) Anyway, I'm also evaluating MobiPocket Reader to read .pdf files, but so far it fails to satisfy me-doesn't show charts, misses the book's title (calls it 'Chapter 1' apparently because that's the first item on the table of contents-there is a title page preceding that, but MobiPocket doesn't seem to see it, my guess is that the title page is an image), etc.
Does anyone know a a forum specifically for Adobe Reader?
