Ahh yes! Gotta admit that was a deep and excellent quote to end the movie. Even though most didn't know of a sequel coming, they probably felt from the mildly corny but excellent ending that there would be more to come. I know I feel that when I see it.

Loved the first film. Thought second was a cash-in, but entertaining, thought third was a bit boring, and can see how they've almost left it possible for it to re-surface as some crap TV series with Neo (played by someone other than Keanu) running around fighting crime or something, a'la Robocop. I certainly hope not, but that's a worst-case scenario for the franchise.
