I figured id repost this in the Laptop section if you all have more experience with this:

Ive searched around to find out if i could get newer drivers for my dell inspiron geforce go 7800 since they only come from the manufacturer (dell) and the newest ones out for them are still 7x.xx

I found this site but i dont know if the steps work for the newer cards (7800) I also dont know the "identification of my card" that i would have to add into my nv4_disp.inf file.

Can any of you help me out in anyway?

I'm not familiar with that site. I use this one, here is the forum http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php? and here is the main page http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?drivers . I have an older card a Geforce4 440 64mb and have good luck with their .infs

I have found that using the mfg or as received to be the best drivers for LT. The hardware for a LT is quite different from a desktop. I tried a couple of different ones for mine, and had to boot into safe mode to back them out.
