For an Abit IS7 motherboard, is a Seagate Ultra ATA/100 interface internal hard drive ok? (7200RPM) (8MB Cache)

yeeees... i fail to see what the issue is.
All IDE hard drives follow the same ATA/IDE specifications.

Salesperson at the store, then the box said "ultra" was recommended. Was going to change and get the Asus P4P800 Deluxe.

ATA100, Ultra ATA 100, and UDMA 100 all mean the same thing. Furthermore that board supports all IDE drives (ie, all those standards, the later ones, and the previous ones).
