Best Bios settings for gigabyte g31 motherboard

Mine is gigabyte g31 mother board it is taking too long time to install windows 7 or 8 into it , it will asks press any key to boot from CD\\DVD and i pressed after that ,it will start loading windows files and logo will appear and it takes more than 3 minutes to show install windows and also after that it takes 3 minutes to show setup is starting up.... can any one help me please????

Hi

Just install windows the bios has nothing to do with it.... how old is your hard drive ?? run a test on it in DOS ..Hirens cd etc...

make sure your target drive is in SATA0 and that you set the bios to ACHI
