Best DVD+-R(W) media for Sony DRU-510A

I have received my Sony DRU-510A today at work (so have not been able to test it out yet...) and noticed it didn't come with any media. This implies that i'll have to buy those seperately asap.

Despite my research over the past few days on google, dvdrhelp and here, I have not been able to find a definitive list of supported media for this writer, nor any decent reviews or comments from experienced users. This may be caused by the fact it's only been released recently.

I would like to know if there's anyone out here that could point me in the right direction or maybe give me direct answers as to what media are best to use.

I saw that thread. but it's about only one type dvd-r. You said you haven't tried anything else yet, so that's why i'm asking more specifically.

I looked through your suggested website, but I still don't know where I can get name brand DVD+RW 4x media for the new Sony DVD player.

I am currently using this drive borrowed from someone who wants me to teach them how to use it after I teach myself. I have found that it works great with TDK +R and +RW Media but does not work with TDK -R Media very well at all with only an occasional sucessful burn. I couldnt find any TDK -RW media for it so I dont know if that is problematic as well but I am betting it is. I tried memorex -RW media with it and it fails everytime accept with really small files. I think this drive has problems with -R -RW media in most cases based on my experience. I was going to stick with +R +RW media anyway but wanted to test it. So, I would also like to know if there is any reliable -R -RW media that works with this drive. I am dissapointed that it has these problems with media made by the same company but is -R instead of +R. I find that strange to say the least.
