Would you install multiple drivers for the same purpose?

Hey,

For example, if you choose the OS as Windows 7 64-bit for this Gigabyte motherboard, you can see that there are multiple selections under some of the headings. Would it be best to install all of those, or just one under each heading. Like under the USB 3.0 section, would I select the Intel one or the Etron. Or under the chipset, would I download the "Intel Management Engine Interface" or the "Intel INF installation?" I'm assuming for the chipset I download both, but not very sure about the USB 3.0.

Just built my first computer and I'm pretty excited that everything went well. This is one of the final steps.

Thank You

More about would install multiple drivers purpose
  1. Like under the USB 3.0 section, would I select the Intel one or the Etron. < Choose the drivers that pertain to the version of the board you have. Also, only install the most recent drivers if more than one of the same driver are listed, they are usually dated.
  2. Intel Management Engine Interface
    Intel INF installation

    Install both ^
  3. I would try the intel 3.0 driver first.
  4. I havent checked your links but your motherboard may have USB 3 ports connected to the controller in the cpu , and additional ports connected to a chip on the mb manufactured by etron so it needs both or some of the ports wont work

Put the mb disk in and hit the option to install all the drivers
  5. may have USB 3 ports connected to the controller in the cpu , and additional ports connected to a chip on the mb manufactured by etron so it needs both or some of the ports wont work < I looked it up and you are correct he needs both 3.0 drivers
  6. Alright thanks guys. I'll install everything.
  7. We are glad to help.Congrats on your first build!
