memory noise?

Have I been living under a rock? Someone the other day asked me how "loud" my memory was - what does this mean? I didn't know memory could/should make noise.

Maybe the guy meant how much memory you had installed. Just because someone isn´t that good at english doesn´t mean they´re completely stupid...just a little bit! )

naw - I was talking to him in person and he is a native English speaker. I think he is just confused - maybe he meant memory as in HD but I'm not so sure.
