I can clock my memory to 166MHz at 2-3-3-6 or leave it at 158MHz at 2-2-2-6, I´m wondering which setting would yield the best overall performance. I´m not really interested in 3Dmark, more about multitasking...

My System:

XP 2100+ T-bred (1,61v)
Asus A7S333
512MB DDR333 CL2

Heya Tigr;

You may notice that you system hangs by 100ms or so everytime it performs a single event operation with your timings set so agressively. if it doesnt do this then you will get your best results with your timings set more agressively then 16mhz more on your fsb.

I hope this helps.

Since your XP 2100+ has 266 FSB it would be best to run the RAM and FSB in sync. That would have your memory run at 133 MHz. (266 MHz. DDR).
