partitioning hard drives

Want to partition the new hard drive (maybe 2?) on new computer. Will have XP home for Operating System. Do I need to buy partion magic? Heard it was crap. Thought XP partitioned it, but when I put XP on this hard drive (in this computer), nope... So did I miss it???

Where did you hear that? IMO, it's one of the best partition software, of course, you need to know what you're doing.

Does XP partition a hard drive? If yes, why can't I find it thru Disk Administrator?

You mean Disk Management? Does it have option to <b>create</b> a partition when you right-click on the new free HD's space (unallocated)?
