hello!
grey horizontal lines have engulfed my laptop screen .. i can just see few inches of screen clearly from above. i have replaced my window vista with window 7 recently .. now what should i do?

Are the few inches of clear screen functioning correctly? Is this only happening in windows, or is it broken during bootup as well? If the top part of your screen is working fine, and the lines are happening during boot, your screen is broken. If not, then you may have a driver issue.

Yes they are functioning correctly. and yes they do appear during boot too. so its showing that my screen is broken then what should I do? can it be repaired? n how can it just broken down when i wasnt playing games and neither was running any heavy operation?
